TLDR: A good friend with the one and only Betty White.
Long version: This dude and his partner are renowned in Hollywood. He does makeup and his partner does hair. They've been a fixture for a long time and celebrities fly them all over the world. They are both very close friends with my daughter and went to Cabo to do her hair and makeup for her wedding in 2011. I've known them both for over a decade.
It was a destination wedding - adults only, at a resort. Everyone had hung and partied for days at the pool leading up to the big day. After the reception, we ended up together on a mini-bus, drunk out of our minds, getting shuttled back to the hotel.
This dude ended up in a loud and liquid fueled argument on the bus while I was in the throes of passing out. He actually helped Linda get me up to my hotel room while we were all slurring like crazy.
The next morning, Linda and I were hangover curing in the shallow end of the pool while he and his partner came walking by. He saw us, and without missing a beat, jumped into the pool, fully clothed, and walked/paddled over to us to apologize for being such a dick the night before. Classic stuff.
