It's one of the most difficult albums in regard to it's style. Some avant-gardeish shoegazey doom folk from one of the Have A Nice Life dudes, and it's just about 100% depressing. The music already should take a toll on listeners, it's hard to digest on its own, and subject matter just amplifies the pain tenfold.
I recommend it, though it might take some time, really weighs down on the heart, mind, and ears

I didn't listen to it but your description reminds me of Jandek's seriously intense acoustic music.
