Man City did it years ago, in the 1930s. Leeds' defence in the 1992/3 season was piss poor, they were three points away from going down.
I'd place that bet depending on odds. Not unthinkable if they lose Mahrez next month.
Useless factoid but looking at tables has reminded me of it and I was
when I saw this a while back, AC Milan won the league in 1994 scoring just 36 goals in 34 matches. Udinese (who went down that year) scored just one goal less than them.
