Hmm, im sure The Beatles werent the first rock act to play a stadium concert...And the credit for making stadium tours popular clearly go to the big rock acts of the 70s like Zeppelin, The Who and Floyd...As well as prog bands like Yes, Genesis and Jethro Tull...The whole Arena Rock trend started from there.
