Today's review is
The Get Up Kids'
Four Minute Mile (Midwest Emo, Pop Punk, Emo)
Coming Clean: **** that had a punk intro. Wow! This is an odd combo. We have what I have come to know as Emo combined with punk. I love this. It's f
ucking great.
Don't Hate Me: Acoustic intro. This is more Emo. Wait! It just got punk. It's bouncing back and forth between Emo and Pop Punk. It's pretty awesome.
Fall Semester: Sweet intro. Just got heavy, and it bounced back to melodic. Wow! This is awesome. I love this.
Stay Gold, Ponyboy: F
ucking yes! This is awesome. Song faded out and comes back in to set up the next song.
Lowercase West Thomas: Wow, this song is awesome! I wish it was longer.
Washington Square Park: And more straight up punk(or pop-punk if you prefer)! This is awessome.
Last Place You Look: Yes! This is great.
Better Half: I really enjoy how this album is bouncing back and forth between pop punk and emo. It really allows the music to grab your attention and never let go.
No Love: Good song. I love the Punk vibe.
Shorty: Nice melodic intro. Nice drum work. Great transition into more of that punk sound. Great song.
Michelle With One "L": Soft intro, into a a nice punk vibe.
Final thoughts: This may be one of the better albums on the list. Not as good as Cursive's Domestica, but better then anything else that has been on the list thus far.
