If you can have a proper discussion on gun control you can find that there are republicans that want to make it harder for people to get guns with out doing an out right gun ban. Plus, people are ****ing people, not all of them are going to think exactly the same and once you realize that you can stop this us vs. them rhetoric that your fiddle players rely on and coming together to compromise on ideas and hopefully start voting for a candidate that can satisfy everybody the best.
Plus, this argument derived from the fact that I said Republicans want moderate gun control. Saying that they support the laws we have now is moderate gun control.
I think a lot of Libertarians are jumping onto the Republican band wagon the same way you neo-Liberals jump on the Democrat band wagon because you feel you can't vote for who you really want and so you vote for the primary that you think best represents you. So that causes confusion when you have a Libertarian like Alex Jones at the Republican convention supporting Trump.
