The new track, we get "Jomp" and it sounds like we are getting treated to a distorted/noisy version of a track that I can't quite remember the name of, but my god it's very well done. I always enjoy hearing the altering of tracks in this type of genre, because for one it's really fun, and two, it's super creative. There's some conversation over the top of it, don't really know what they're saying or what it's about, but I suppose it adds to the madness.

It's a noise/karaoke version of "Jump" by Van Halen, the conversation being my vocals
it's actually ****ing hilarious if you try to figure out what I'm saying.

The longest track on the album, we have Logan, coming in at 11 and a half minutes. While I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of longer tracks, I'm listening to it for the benefit of this review. From the get go, we get what feels like another full on noise track that gets louder and louder and louder throughout the first minute. It starts to push itself into overdrive as you listen further and around the 2-3 minute mark, it starts to create the atmosphere that brings it altogether as a whole. While it doesn't go any further from there to the end of the track, it keeps me interested for a solid 11 minutes which in itself is an accomplishment. Some interesting stuff going on here, and I can see why the song was put at the 11 minute mark. A lot of stuff to cover throughout this song, and its done so very well with time management in mind. Had it been any longer though, it may have been a bit too much, so good call there.

At first, I was making a track based on playing all the Youtube embeds of Seether's cover of "Careless Whisper" at once, but while attempting this I had to download a patch for Mac to be able to record it's own sound. Well, unbeknownst to me my Spotify was continuing to play
Haha by The Garden, and instead of recording the whole 10 minute session again I just left it in. The added noise is a sine wave that I layered with effects and then some nonsensical Satanic sounding whisper effects that I distorted, resampled, and amplified.

But next up, we have Dramamine, which is what sounds like beat boxing and drums mixed with noise and electronics. Really cool effects on it throughout, and a lot of fun to hear the various different sounds going on here. Top notch quality on it too, possibly one of my favorite shorter tracks on this album so far. I really like the idea of beat boxing over noise effects as it adds a sort of odd sound that works in its favor.

Next we have Tween. This sounds a lot like one of the tracks I made a while back that consisted of nothing but my vocals being super distorted and echo'd into madness. Obviously, I really like this. No particular beat to it, but the way the song is structured is really neat and there's so much going on, but it works, again. Haven't heard a track on this album yet that I would say is bad, but so far, this album is an overall fun noise album that I personally feel a connection with as I like to make my music sound like this. It gets into a repetitive beat for a little while and that really ****ed with my brain, in a good way of course. This track is strong, and possibly the best on the album, but I haven't heard the rest yet.

Next we have Kaus. A bit of a longer track almost reaching 6 minutes. Not a bad thing as I love to hear how noise artists can fill the time. This one starts off very minimalist, with the sound of water dripping. I've contemplated using the sound of water being poured before in my projects, so it's really neat to hear the sound being used in this. Throughout the track, you hear bits and pieces of noise trying to take over the track, but it's done very selectively and doesn't make the track filled with as much madness as the rest of the album, and that's a plus as well. A nice change of pace from the craziness that we've come to hear from the previous tracks, but still very much complimentary to the album altogether. Another strong track. Again, I love the minimalist style, very neat to hear it done this way. There's no sense of it dragging on that i've noticed. Just a solid 5 and a half minutes of minimalist noise done right.

It's actually typing but I see where you would get that. I was really trying to just capture the ambience in the room; the tv playing quiet in the next room, the hum of a neighbor's lawnmower, the heater system turning on and off outside...
Unfortunately, my mac speakers don't allow for that. I really need to use my TASCAM next time. Regardless, I'm quite happy with the results anyways.

Onto the last two tracks which both come to about a minute each, we have Dean. Very interesting (im assuming) vocal tracks distorted to a beat thrown over the top making it sound spectacular. I'd really be interesting in hearing a long version of this track, but very well done for what it is. Last but not least, we have Warrior Man, which is just a vocal track, plain and simple. Very easy way to end the album on a high note, and definitely not trying to be something it isn't.

Thanks dude! Will plan on making a longer version since I wanted to anyways but was feeling kinda lazy. The last track is a cover of the Squidbillies theme cause I ****in love Squidbillies.

Overall, a wonderfully structured noise album. I've always really liked SNZZZOV*EN and this is probably the strongest album he has put out. The album overall really sticks to what it knows best and doesn't try to be something it's not. A solid 9/10. The only point I'm taking away is for the fact that the second to last track wasn't longer. It had strong potential, but just wasn't used all the way. Hopefully we'll get more tracks like that in the future for some sort of side project of sorts, but otherwise a very strong album.
