There's kind of a "new wave" of really good horror coming out right now with movies like The Babadook, The Witch, Hush, It Follows (admittedly overrated as ****, but still great), and Under the Skin that you might want to check out.

Most horror doesn't affect me either, and when it does, I hate it! I still think that the Hills Have Eyes (the remake) is the worst movie I've ever seen.
