Of course, whether one likes something determines whether it's good or bad, treasure or trash, etc.
Anyway, I've haven't listened to much Ke$ha yet, so I don't have an opinion on her yet. (I do know I've listened to some Ke$ha in the past, but I just don't recall it in any detail.) My knowledge is pretty spotty on a lot of recent pop (I'm using pop in more of a "top 40" sense). I do like a lot of pop from all eras, but because of (a) the breadth of music that I collect and how I collect it, and (b) the fact that I haven't listened to commercial music radio since the early/mid 80s, I never pay any attention to awards shows, etc., for the most part I only know more recent pop that I've kind of stumbled upon to collect.
At that, there hasn't been any recent top 40 that I've been very excited about. Some stuff from some recent artists has approached (but not quite met) that, maybe, including some Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Kanye, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, for example, but really the last new top 40 artist that I got excited about was Outkast, and that was awhile ago.
On the other hand I don't dislike any recent top 40 pop that I've heard, but I've been more or less indifferent towards a lot of it. A lot of the musical elements that most tend to excite me--particular sorts of more adventurous/unusual harmonic, melodic, rhythmic, broader structural etc. content, has been missing from a lot of recent top 40 pop.
