Maybe. I know like squat about the Suikoden series. I was always more into action RPG's, even though I love FF.

Blue Dragon had an anime series, but it was a completely different story that just didn't work as well.

Actually, yes a Mario movie could be good. Because modrn Mario games have good plots, a lot of great laughs, and lovable characters. The writers have more than enough capability to write a good movie or series. So far, this is the best we got.
