I voted for bebop guitar players. I still voted in that particular genre, but for musicians who used instruments were other than the ones which it is more commonly know for
i.e. woodwinds and brasswinds. Bebop guitar is a particular favorite of mine, and I didn't mind being alone voting for those artist.
My love for the Blues extend to all sub-genres. I do have a particular fondness for the ragtime style of Piedmont Blues. Some professional musicologist see a distinction to be made between Piedmont and Delta Blues, some don't. I still voted for acoustic guitar playing Country Blues artist. Every one of them born before the 20th Century.
