So there's a new family in the neighborhood that includes an elderly gentleman who's obviously suffering badly from dementia or alzheimers. They have a caretaker come in everyday to help him through the day including taking him for walks up and down the road in front of my house. He's strapped into this rolling chair that doesn't have big wheels like a wheelchair.
He never talks or makes a sound except for when he approaches a speed bump. He goes off!
NO! NO! NO! NONONONO!!!! Once he's over it he's quiet as a mouse again.
It's really kinda unnerving. There's a speed bump right outside the window of my music room/man cave. I also get to see it when out walking the dogs. Freaks them out too.
I've told Linda to take me out if I ever get like that. I know she won't hesitate to do it. She's asked me to do the same.
