RYM is the better site most definitely, but I still enjoy MA.

Yeah, I second this. I find a lot more metal music through MA than I do RYM. Sometimes I just use the search feature to find bands with cool names and then I download their stuff. Never really noticed many of the ratings on there, but are they really that elitist?
