People saw my previous post so I am not even going to counter argue other than saying...The Sex Pistols caused the counter culture implosion we now know as punk that eventually became commercialized in the 90's under Green Day, and is now no longer relevant.

Sure there are still small pockets of punk scenes in North America just like there are jazz or metal scenes, but its heyday has come and gone.

With the music industry at its death thralls I doubt we'll ever see another musical counter culture revolution, technology and culture has changed so much, music has taken a back seat to other forms of cultural expression.
