I hyper-rationalize my blatant thievery. I download ~100 album archives every few weeks, but I consider it research material to inspire actual purchases I otherwise never would have made. My bottom-line rationale is that my average spending is $1200 a year on music while the average American spends $57 on physical and digital media annually. I spend more than the next 21 consumers combined.



Based on my spending, I'm not the guy killing the industry.
