and what would you consider the Pixies if not Alternative? *(who i see have a new album coming out

so i went through 8 pages of bands tagged with "nu metal" on RYM and can honestly say i have zero interest in any of them...i'll sit this one out completely

when i think of the term "Alternative" i can't help but think of watching 120 Minutes in the 90s....more or less all of those bands could easily make my list

as for folk....no dark or neofolk fans huh?
