Average IQ is 94.7 based on a study of over 2,000 serial killers. There's certainly quite a few very bright ones but there's also quite a few who don't have many lights on in the attic. |
I suspect that the ones who get the most notice, and have the highest IQs, are probably the ones who are smarter than your average serial killer. They would be more likely to escape notice and go on to kill more people, and body count is a large decider for who gets the most press.
