I think Zorn just likes to spread his wings and try new stuff out. Predictable or not, the screechy horsie sax and vocals always get me so it's no biggie.

I like Patton because he took Yamatsuka Eye's ideas and brought them to a whole new level. I think he is held a little too high up in the experimental world, but I don't think it's ill earned. He's probably the only person who uses extended voice technique that most regular people would know. That last part's not a testament to his talent or anything, just something worth noting. I'm not into everything he does, btw, just about 75% of it.
