They still sound like Hatebreed-esque beatdown hardcore combined with death metal to me. And they're not even good tech death. Perhaps I'm not the best person to judge tech death, as I see much of it as just dull wank that trades songwriting for technical bragging rights. And Thy Art Is Murder trades not only songwriting for tech bragging, but actual tech bragging for cheesy breakdowns.

One of those bands I can enjoy thoroughly for several minute(s) before needing to listen to something else.
