Religious orders have the Liturgy of the Hours, Prayers which consists of Psalms and hymns, which are said regularly. They aresaid eight times during the day @ 3, 6, 9, 12 both AM & PM, or basically every three hours. I am not sure how many of them a religious should say to fullfil their obligation. The mass and the Liturgy of the Hours make the public prayer life. They are said every hour, everyday around the world.
