He had a few albums in the 70's that were somewhat popular.
Snowflakes Are Dancing actually made it into the top 50 in the US, and was nominated for 4 Grammys. In my book that should be enough to warrant at least a small obit in some of the major media outlets, but I'm still seeing nothing.
