okay.. im turning over a new leaf.
i hate atreyu, i think they suck. this is why...
when the bands started it played a watered down mixture of newer hardcore and swedish influenced metal that is mediocre at best with lame and meaningless lyrics. the band was no better or worse than the 40 other bands just like them at the time. so i gave them a chance and bought a cd. i was bored in minutes. bad singing and screaming vocals and then the infamous "mosh" which was present in every song.
i didnt think it could get anymore subpar.. then out came this new release, terrible. their is not one drop of creativity in this cd. they might as well have listened to thursday, from autumn to ashes, poison the well, and skycamefalling and mixed it all together (which they probably did). last time i checked, ripping off bands that arent even that good in the first place doesnt make you better.
the band as a whole are not the worst musicians by any means but this music has absolutely nothing in it. its so plain and empty. and quite frankly there are at least 50 bands i can name off of the top of my head that deserve more recognition than this band.
so there are my reasons.
