Needed to win nomination: 2,383
Hillary Clinton: 502 (includes 451 superdelegates)Bernie Sanders: 70 (includes 19 superdelegates)Not yet allocated: 4,193
I know I sound like a broken record here, but the superdelegates (who do not have any obligation to the voters) will not allow Sanders to win. When you watch the news you may be under the impression that the voters have the power to elect Sanders as the Democratic candidate. They don't. Instead of reporting on this like it's a basketball game they might want to explain how it actually works from time to time.
