Ah really? Roots is a good'un, definitely check him if you've never heard him before, pretty old school and I liked him as a bit of a crossover from 90s trip hop.
Bit of dub in his music and using the Jamaican accent takes him nicely away from the kinds of British delivery I don't like
Foreign Beggars have some sweet beats and went a bit dance/dubsteppy, but earlier stuff worth a listen,
Dr Syntax is the white guy you can hear on this track with them, he's a middle class joker who raps about A levels, not having girls, being white and uncool and working pointless bureaucratic jobs etc, he's alright, but a good one to drop if you happen to hear one of those conversations where a bunch of aforementioned whiteys are discussing the gangster credentials of Scarface or Eazy E.
