If you think they're cheesy, keep in mind that they are not a band that takes themselves very seriously at all. I actually view them as sort of being metal's version of The Ventures or Dick Dale, but instead of songs referencing surfing and hot rods, they reference war and serial killers and whatnot.

I do like Dick Dale. And I do like bands that don't take themselves seriously. Might try them again at some point.
