The day continues to be exceptional.
Several peers have agreed to form a reading group I've dubbed Anarchists in the Library. We've a growing list of core texts on subjects ranging from post-capitalism to open culture and Creative Commons to the impacts of mass media on global culture.
I'm eager to study cities/nations which continue to have a thriving economy in an era where internet-based markets have replaced brick and mortar almost entirely.
It's wonderful to have a few friends interested in these subjects and I look forward to the discussions and friendly debates which will follow.
And tomorrow I've got a posse joining me for a road trip to a giant antique mall followed by a celebratory brunch at a small greasy spoon which purportedly sells breakfast garbage plates!
Life is grand.
