I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I've been through a lot during my school years, a lot of rewarding situations due to my schoolwork and grades, and that's why I hate being called a moron. It's not only a grim reminder, it's people trying to judge me when they know nothing about me.

Were you ever lynched by someone who called you a moron? No? Then you don't really have the same collective history to affect your view of a word.
