Kate Rusby - The Wild Goose

^ Probably thanks to one of those earlier posts, I have a slightly different version of Kate Rusby singing The Wild Goose. Either way, it's my favourite Kate Rusby song. The thing that caught my attention with this video clip were the photos at 0:50 and 1:40; they are of a ridge called Striding Edge, which I have walked from top to tail!

As for Sailor's Life - yes, a great track. I like the way the music swells, then slackens to let Richard Thompson's extended guitar break shine.

From what I've heard (= not much), I don't really like Pol Mac Adaim's material, but on this traditional song he changes his style and really brings out the sinister mystery of the lyrics:-
