What's the point of using "whom" if you're not going to use it even vaguely correctly?
"I know a lot of people whose couch I could crash on..."
... or if you want to be pretentious...
"I know a lot of people on whose couch I could crash... "
And yes, I realize that there should be a space before an ellipsis, but it's a personal choice, because I just think it looks better without the space, though I do employ one after an ellipsis.
