Actually, does anyone know this story? One of the band members invited his producer over, and was looking in a magic book to look for song ideas. He spoke an incantation, and a knife flew on the cieling. He stopped using satanic lyrics right then and there.

Oh yeah, the entire reason I posted that first thing. Pretty sure that's complete and utter bull****. That was supposed to be Nikki Sixx reading from the
Necronomicon, a fake book invented by H.P. Lovecraft. The band was just looking for attention with their completely and totally awesome autobiography, and that was just one more bull**** story to drum up some kind of publicity.

The Dirt is still one of the most entertaining books I have ever read, and will make you love their singer if for no other reason than because of his tale of his young daughter's death from cancer. You can't not like a guy who's daughter dies from cancer before she can even go to school. It's just impossible.
