Okay, got very little on the Stabbed in Back and Ezra Furman records, what did people make of them?
Really surprised to see Stabbed in the Back on the list. Bjork doesn't make the top twenty five but this did? Interesting. I'd say this album hearkens back to 90's skate punk in both quality of sound and bpm. It hits home with me because of the drumming and bass playing, I really dig when bass players take it to the next level and take the lead rather then quitar. The vocals could be better and are really my only issue at times with the record. I like to hear bands that have fun and you can tell they are throwing their record label under the bus and just rolling with what makes them happy. Its just a fun take on street/skate life and I can roll a joint and put it on in the background and just forget about life for a few minutes and thats the objective anymore.
