Yes dream pop is among my favorite genres and it is heavily influential on my own work. I've got a ton of it so if you really like it (and it seems like you do!) I can give you a huge spectrum of takes on the genre. I started you off with what I believe to be the greatest band to ever do it (Cocteau Twins) and then moved you in a much bigger sounding direction and now Lanterns on the Lake is a very soft, slower take. |
I have to tell you though if they lyrics are hard to understand I'd rather hear something that's more clear UNLESS you think that I really need to give an album a shot. Honestly this whole experience has opened my eyes to a lot of things. I like to write and do this has given me so many new ideas!
