I haven't done shrooms since 2003, last time I did them I ate a few caps, smoked a blunt. I was listening to Dark & Long by Underworld and I swear it took me an hour to walk down the hall to my bedroom. I was holding on to the wall for dear life, and felt like I was like on an epic journey to Mecca.
And I saw the those little Hawaiian Tiki faces that a lot of people see after rubbing my eyes.
I've been musing about experimenting with some psychedelics at some point so if you have the time to give advise it would be appreciated, as a lot of the plants are grey areas in Canada. You can essentially buy the leaves or boil the bark without any criminal prosecution.
So your thoughts on....
1)
Peyote: Never got around to mescaline, is it worth the while, and is it a good start for a novice (in that its not to powerful)
2)
Salvia: I've been meaning to do this since the 90's but I've heard so many horror stories about it, and that it only lasts for a few minutes. I know one person who told me they thought they were a little red polka dot on a table cloth? So how intense is it & is it safe to do on your own?
3)
DMT: I guess its' sort of morbid considering its theorized to be released in the brain when were ready to pass on, but have you done it? What's your experience. Apparently a lot of people boil the bark and drink it in tea?
Any other natural psychedelic recommendations?
