Ride
Hazel English
i have seriously been waiting for this show since 1994
Hazel English....apart from being amazingly stunning....was a really good start to the evening....there really is something to be said for musicians who are really into the music they create....and these kids were really into it....fun indie rock with a bit of a "Lush-esque" vibe.....worth looking into for sure
starting with a short but appropriate tribute to the lose of life in paris france
Ride opened with Twisterella

....and honestly played a lot of stuff form their later two albums....which in a way was awesome because i'm not very familiar with that material.....but after that I will be very much exploring those albums and EPs greedily....they basically played the entire A side to Going Blank Again and the fan favorites from Nowhere (save polar Bear) was really hoping they would play In A Different Place but got Decay instead which was wonderful.....they also did a very MBV noise interlude which...dare i say...was better than MBV
seeing Dreams Burn Down and Mouse Trap live brought tears to my eyes.....
The night ended when they left the stage and blared Kraftwerk "Neon Lights"
this show falls under f
ucking amazing
