Looks like a cross between bologna and what's commonly known in New England as 'Canadian bacon.'" I was just curious who calls it "Canadian bacon" and who calls it "back bacon." "Peameal bacon" is a type of back bacon that's been rolled in ground yellow peas, or cornmeal to extend shelf life.
Pork roll is sweet and tangy. I think it is somewhere between Salami and Summer Sausage, but you have to grill or fry it.
