That was obviously recorded in a studio though. Like, it was intentionally distorted, yes, by professionals who know what they are doing. It was definitely mixed and mastered properly. It's done well enough that I wouldn't have guessed that it was made in the 60s.
Yours isn't really intentionally distorted. It's recorded on a phone out of cheapness and laziness. How can you say something like "if you love it like you should" when you don't even love it enough to put forth the effort to make the best quality you can?
