I don't hate them for being mean, I hate them for having children. I'll explain.
I work in one of the most affluent cities in the country. It's Brookline, Ma if you want to do the research. I work in a frame shop. People bring in their art and we look at it, tell them what they need to do (or how we can resote it) and do the dirty work and they pay boatloads of cash.
The people who earned the money will just pay us to do it. Their rebelious artsy kids who do their own painting and sculptures (which universally suck) who've never worked for anything ever, walk around like they've had a frontal lobotomy or are on valium, they bother me.
One asked me "where do I get one of those things that you put nails in with?"
The saddest part of that conversation was that she wasn't refering to a hammer...I know, its ok to cry. They have14 million in the bank.
