This is the worst arguement I have ever seen. That is like saying "I'd rather have a guy who rapes little kids living next to me as oppossed to someone who rapes and kills them"
The bottom line is this, being "straight edge" or "punk" or any of that **** is mindless. Identifying yourself by something a bunch of other people are is the most mindless thing you can do. If you don't want to do drugs, fine. If you happen to like punk music, fine, I do too, but when you attach these labels to yourself it is stupid. Why do you feel the need to belong to a group with a set of guidelines like that, it is intellectual stagnation. Be who you are, an individual, not a member of a ****ing clan.
