The PS3/360 are already on their way out as far as big budget AAA titles go. Black Ops 3 is the only upcoming game I can think of that is still receiving a last gen port. Everything else at this point has moved on to PS4/X1.
You might as well go next gen now instead of waiting until the last gen gets completely abandoned and you're forced to upgrade.
