Check the forum topic: this is "General Music". If you go to the "Lounge" you can post off-topic threads there; however she's right. Don't just open a new thread for everything. We have "Your Day" and "Spam" threads for general wandering thoughts, and also the Shoutbox, at the bottom of the page, where you can express your opinions without taking up thread space.
We are actually friendly and like to banter, so don't worry. Takes a bit of time to learn the rules and fit in, but in fairness I think Roxy could have been less sharp with you. Don't take it to heart.
