The Imago Sequence - Laird Barron
A collection of short stories and a novella by a somewhat recent and very good horror author Laird Barron. He definitely wears his Lovecraft influences on his sleeves but I'd say he's a bit more personable and far more interested in writing protagonists. Definitely a good recommendation if you're into Clive Barker.
