As I said before, you make your own rules and decide how you vote, but if you want guidelines, I would suggest some of the following:

1. Is the album known outside of its own genre, whether by name, reputation or the singles, if any, it spawned?

2. Can it, conceivably, be listened to by anyone, even those who are not fans?

3. Has it stood the test of time?

4. Is it on any "best ever albums"-type lists?

5. Does it mark a change or a particular period in the history of the band?

6. Did it influence other albums/bands?

Not all or even any of these need to be fulfilled of course for it to attain/lose its status: in this case I know nothing about GBV and so vote No. If, however, we were talking about, say, Sticky Fingers or Pet Sounds or Reign in Blood, or even TMR (), albums I don't know too well but know of, I would vote Yes in all cases.
