Yeh I agree, but I think a lot of this whole fat shaming dilemma involves people who overlook that fact. Lots of people are within a healthy BMI but smoke a ton or don't take care of their bodies and they are in way worse health then someone who takes care of themselves but is overweight.
Also, the BMI scale is kinda whack. I'm 5'11, anything over 180 for me is considered overweight. That's absurd if you have any sort of muscle mass.

yea... it's a flawed calculation...but maybe it's a bit more accurate to say there are health-based principles that could determine a person's general health in terms of size based on the ratios concerning how much fat a person is carrying around vs their general proportions (weight, height, girth, etc)
