I don't know Ribot (how cool that you can mechanise him though by changing one letter?)  but I do realise that he plays some of the best guitar work on some of the really classic Waits albums. And of course, circle jerk away: had I the time and opportunity I'd probably listen to Waits all day, every day. |
His work with Waits is great, but I'm sure you'll be stunned to find out that I like Ribot's jazz and work with John Zorn the best. Nobody has phrasing quite like Ribot, it's what makes him my favourite guitarist tbh.
