Yeah possibly on further listens. I really didn't hate much at all about it, other than the damn kids singing. Like a knife to my heart.

I don't really hate spoken word (I loved Shatner's album); I just don't care for it on its own. After all, it's in DSOTM, Marillion's "Forgotten sons" (shut up Frown!) and of course a lot of Waits material (I
said....) so no, I don't hate it. But it has to engender the right feeling in me, and often taped conversations, audio extracts and so on don't do it. Not saying they never do, but sometimes they just don't feel right.
