I'm glad you didn't hate it TH, it's a fantastic record. They have an s/t as well that's far more experimental which I prefer, but I figure that'd get a definite hate from you.

I can see where he's coming from as far as Triumph is concerned because the percussion sounds right out of a Waits song, but I pretty much agree with your sentiment. It might just be that Waits is the most experimental thing that TH is familiar with, so that's his way to gauge other experimental records.

And another rec from the jazz world (free jazz to be specific ). But hey, I find it pretty accessible for what it is and you might find yourself tapping your foot to it.
