I've always heard more people bitching about NV, largely because of glitches. And I had no idea New Vegas was done by another company. As far as I know Bethesda owns the rights to Fallout, so why did another company do NV?

They're both barren wastelands, but the desert setting really makes the wild west vibe come to life. And the greater amount of settlements makes the world feel more alive.

It's been a while since I played 3, so I can't say about the graphics, but I've never been bothered by them in NV. And even if you prefer the actual setting in 3, everything else about the game is inferior.
