but i'll just point to mine and my neighbor's dogs howling like morons to each other all day
doesn't matter if i understand what provokes the stimuli/response, it's still annoying. and though while it is conceptually interesting, when it's confronted on a day to day basis, it's just about as endearing as the ants that are trying to conquer one particular part of my porch in an organized colonial force that seems to be stemming from one particular tree
tl:dr i appreciate organic life while still sometimes finding it a pragmatic nuisance, but i don't 'hate' any form of life
except for retarded kids of course

Thre's nothing wrong with this post. If this had been Lil's comment instead of "all kids are the spawn of Satan and all parents are cattle", I would not have had a problem.

I love the way you completely fail to address any of my points. Being drunk is not an excuse. Post when you're sobre. When you are, the point is that by describing parents as you did, you insulted every mother who ever bore a child, including my own. Not intentionally you may say, but that's why you need to check before saying things like that. Consider that not everyone holds the opinion you do, and that what you say may hurt them.

However, I think if I was ever a father that my child/children would be the most important thing to me, and that I'd drop everything about myself to make sure I was the best father possible. This probably has something to do with the dismal relationship I have with my parents, but naturally I may just have that instinct as well. The reason I hate some youngions may have more to do with the parents than they themselves as well.

Elderly > Adults > Kids > Babies = Teenagers

They do, but not to express it in such hateful terms, and as if everyone agrees with them. Honestly, does Lil not even accept that there are good things to having kids, first and foremost of course being that it's a chance to continue your existence on? Anyway I don't seriously think anyone hates kids: I think people have problems with them sometimes (certainly I have) and could cheerfully strangle them, but in the end this is all bluster and if it came right down to it I believe a majority of people would admit kids are ok. They may not want them, but I'd be surprised if they hated them.

I have to care for myself and that takes enough effort. I'm in and out of hospital regularly. I can't bring kids into the world until I know I'm ready.

Some people are just great with kids...
Orph, sorry for living in a different time zone! When I saw your post it just got me so angry and I still am. It's all very fine for you to say "we're back on track" but I've just read your post and I stand by every single word. If that causes us problems, so be it, but you can't just say that crap and then hours later (for you) expect me to just read it and not respond. You may have calmed down by now but I'm hot as **** about it.
And please do me the courtesy of reading the whole post. It's very insulting to say tl;dr when I've had to read your rambling discourse, both to me and to YorkeDaddy. I'd really appreciate if you read it because you really need to. And ffs the Hitler thing was a metaphor to point out that you can't justify everything on the basis of "people can say what they like". Stop trying to twist my words, or at least their intent. Please.
