Storm Front by Jim Butcher
I have been meaning to read this series ever since I saw that abomination on the Sci-Fi channel a few years back. A number of people I know have read it and all said it was a good read. I kind of wish I had done that before the whole neckbeard/mra/OKCupid thing because Harry Dresden kind of reeks of it all. There's even a passage early on where he talks about treating women like women and not smaller weaker men with tits. I dunno, it kind of smells of author insert/ wish fulfillment character that I don't like which is a shame because I do enjoy the idea of contemporary fantasy and magus' running around, it reminds me of
Mage: The Awakening so I think I'll finish this book but unless Harry's personality shifts and he starts having some actual flaws I will probably leave this series after the novel ends.
