Agreed. I've seen people come and go, made really close friendships, seen tits and dicks, and I've definitely come a long way from what I once was. I feel like when I log on here the feeling is the same when you visit an old school you graduated/dropped out from. It hasn't really changed, but I have. I've pretty much given up discussing music on this site entirely due to my interests in music becoming more and more strange, and obscure. I still talk about a few popular artists that still stick with me, but other than that it's kind of lonely sometimes not being able to share what I love with someone due to the fact that I'm literally one of a handful when it comes to loving artists sometimes.
I remember the days of MB where we would all talk about more popular artists like Radiohead, Elliott Smith, My Bloody Valentine, of Montreal, and those were exciting times. Gushing over this or that, pissing on "emo" music at the time in favor of more exquisite acts like Cap'n' Jazz or Pg.99. It was all pretty amazing, learning and growing, music tastes blooming. It was probably the most fun I had on a forum which is why I'm still here. This place is responsible for my listening habits for the most part.
